An international congress on “The Quran and Supplication” will be held next year (1390) by Al-Mustafa International University in the holy city of Qom.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - An international congress on “The Quran and Supplication” will be held next year (1390) by Al-Mustafa International University in the holy city of Qom.

Hojat-ol-Islam Hamidreza Karimi who is in charge of the Hadith Section of Quran and Hadith General Office of the university told that the program is organized to finalize the outcomes of the five international forums being held on Quranic and Hadith themes from February 1 in Albania.

“The selected papers of these five programs will be presented at the international congress and published in a book.”

He added that the forums planned by the international university aim to promote the culture of supplication and prayers in various countries particularly where the university has branches. They will be held in Albania, Indonesia, Tanzania, Afghanistan and Syria respectively representing Europe, East South of Asia, Africa, neighboring and Arab countries.

“The first forum, on the influence of supplication and its relation with the Quran’s verses, began on February 1 with the presence of Ayatollah Alireza A’rafi, rector of the university and member of the scientific board of Qom seminary school,” he said.

Intellectuals from Britain and Germany and Quranic activists and authors from Albania as well as Albanian Minister of Culture took presence at the forums.
